2012 Annual General Meeting: First Notice

TAKE NOTICE THAT the 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the British Columbia Golf Association will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2012. The meeting will take place at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel, 7311 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, British Columbia V6X 1A3 – commencing at 1:30 pm. The AGM is open to the public.

Each member club is entitled to be represented by delegates who will be based on membership size. To confirm your clubs allowable number of delegates please refers to the by-law 18.1 enclosed in the supporting documents. Please complete the Delegate Registration Form and include addresses and email contacts for each delegate as they will receive meeting and voting materials directly.

10:00 am – 12 noon Seminar

• Changes in EQUITABLE STROKE CONTROL, which came into effect March 1st
• Changes to the US COURSE RATING SYSTEM
• Changes to THE RULES OF GOLF, which came into effect January 1st

Noon – 1:15pm Lunch Presentation on “PLAYGROUND TO FAIRWAY”

Afternoon Session
