British Columbia Golf Mourns the Loss of Bill Gartside

British Columbia Golf is saddened to announce the passing of William (Bill) Gartside on January 30th 2012, a dedicated British Columbia Golf Association volunteer during the 1990′s. Bill served on the Executive Committee as well as acting as a Director for Zone 4 during the 1994-1995 season. He was an influential individual who shared our Associations passion for growing the game of golf.

Bill, who also held the role of President at Vancouver Golf Club in 1992, will be missed by all who knew him in the golf community. A memorial service for Bill will be held on February 6th 2012 (2:00pm) at Vancouver Golf Club. At the request of his family, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

British Columbia Golf will be making a donation to the Player Development Trust Fund in his honour.
