Tournament For Tommy A Great Way To Help A Friend In Need

The game of golf and those who play it have garnered a very well-earned reputation for using the love of the game and its drawing power to help those in need.

When someone could use a hand due to circumstances beyond their control there are few, if any, partners like golf and golfers who come together and make a real difference.

With the goal being to assist a great friend of the game, longtime PING Golf Canada sales representative Brad Thomas, the upcoming 'Tournament For Tommy' is one of those occasions.

Well known and respected amateur golfer and realtor Lance Lundy along with the Big Sky Golf & Country Club in Pemberton, B.C. are teaming up with PING and many other friends of Brad's to host a tournament on Monday June 15th, 2015 at Big Sky to help Brad meet some of the onerous costs associated with his recovery from the stroke he suffered last year.

As Lance put it, “There is a small window of opportunity for stroke patients to improve and to maximize Brad's opportunity to continue to improve, we are trying to assist him with some of his financial needs to take care of physiotherapy and general needs. 100% of the golf entry and donations will be going directly to the Brad Thomas Trust. Any donations or prize donations would be gratefully appreciated”.
